This means that each and every AWM Water Feature is done with care and creativity years in the making. During the initial planning phase of your project and for questions throughout the process, Mike is your guy.

Bill HaanHorticulturistBill joined the team in 2022 after spending most of his career in the IT world. His hobbies of landscaping and gardening made for an apt transition to working outside with AWM. His passion for water features began 10 years ago when he DIYed his very own backyard pond which turned out beautifully. Bill's attention to detail, impressive knowledge of plants, friendliness, and communication skills make him a valuable member of both our maintenance and installation teams.

Installation ForemanBrad joined the AWM team early in 2024 and comes with 3 years of experience in the industry.
Brad has a lifelong love of the outdoors that has translated into a passion for building water features, especially those that concentrate on a natural look. His eye for detail, whether it's rock placement or finding an amazing log/stump for a water feature, helps him build amazing looking features. His leadership raises the whole team's level of construction. If you have questions during the installation process, Brad will be happy to answer them. |
Nathaniel Collins
Aquascape Technician II
Nathaniel has 5 years of experience at AWM. He is a chip off the old block (Mike is his Dad) ... he has a keen eye for rock placement in waterfalls and ponds. A "jack-of-all-trades", Nathaniel can do it all. Setting rock? Check. Running skid steers and excavators? Check. Planting plants in the aquascape? Check. Glueing plumbing? Check. Setting up the time lapse? Check. Nathaniel is quick to come up with creative solutions. With his diverse experience, Nathaniel will have a presence at most of our installation projects.

Joshua Watkins
Aquascape Technician I
Joshua's a student at GVSU and his studies in microbiology make him an invaluable employee for assessing our customers water quality. This knowledge also helps him contribute to the ecological success of the ponds we install. He is the AWM tinkerer ... having interests in pulling pumps apart, weld fixing the trailer, etc. On the job site, you're likely to see Joshua planting just the right plant for the situation or taking water samples for testing.

Will Henry
Maintenance Technician I
Will rounds out the 2024 AWM Draft Class Trio of amazing rookies. He has obtained his MDARD Pesticide Applicators license but like all AWM employees, tries to find an ecological solution to our customers pond maintenance issues first and foremost. This combined with his knowledge of water testing, diligence, and organizational skills has allowed us to grow our maintenance department by leaps and bounds. If you have a maintenance contract with us, Will is likely to be keeping the pond healthy and looking great.
