Algae & Weed Control

Ponds of all sizes and ages can develop nuisance levels of algae and aquatic weed growth.  There are various ways to address these issues which include preventative measures, mechanical removal, biological applications, and chemical control.  A pond experiencing severe algae and weed problems is symptomatic of an ecosystem out of balance. Our goal is to restore your body of water to a healthy state so it can be enjoyed once again. Chemical treatments are a safe and effective method for controlling excess growth. But as a company focused on working with nature instead of against it, we also recommend natural methods for restoring ponds such as aeration, bacteria applications, pond dye, biochar (activated charcoal), and native plants.
Seasonal Pond Management Programs Include:
  • Weekly, Biweekly, or Monthly Visits
  • Algaecide & Herbicide Treatments
  • Natural Bacteria Applications
  • Water Quality Measurements
  • Permitting & Reports
Individual Treatments Offered:
  • Phosphorus Binding Applications
  • Sludge & Muck Digesting Applications
  • Flocculent to Clear Water
  • Algaecide & Herbicide Treatments
  • Cattail / Shoreline Growth Treatments
